SAVA stock has been unfairly beat down recently and we should step back and take a look at the bigger picture. I did drug development for Pfizer and I'm a neurologist who has treated tens of thousands of Alzheimer's patients, so I can discuss any aspect of the science. I can tell you that research papers are typically full of errors, and end up being published in big journals without anyone ever noticing. The errors don't imply fraud itself. These western blots from 15 years ago was before simufilam was even discovered. The western blots are done on a plate, which is all analog. To make it digital in the early 2000s, you had to piece it together manually in photoshop. Some old Chinese scientist may not be the best at this sort of work. The discovery of simufilam makes logical sense. Previous research done by others found excessive tau hyperphosphorylation in many neurodegenerative diseases including Alzheimer's.  They seem to have a strong correlation today and during other down days. First image is from today and second image is a Dr. Michael Burry tweet. The theory is that big hedge funds holding mostly big tech mega caps like AAPL, GOOG, FB, MSFT, AMZN are shorting speculative stocks as hedges. We are spending all our time discussing the science of simufilam and the merits of the citizen's petition but there are other big factors driving the price action. This implies that we can use the opportunity to create short squeezes. We hold the bags now but this stock is going to the moon. The short stock availability went from over 850k shares to now 0 shares very quickly today. This is a potential short squeeze setup. I don't know how long it would take or how high the stock needs to be pushed, but the potential is certainly there on a day of good news. 9/8/2021 Update : No short squeeze yet but it is looking more likely as the short interest continues to increase.
